The German-American Rod and Gun Club was founded in 1935 and is a social club within the Troy Germania Hall.   It owns property in rural Rensselaer county  near the Tomhannock Reservoir,  where meetings are sometimes held. Annually and at the end of June, a big barbeque is held on the property with lots of food,  music and good times. In the middle of September, a Pig Roast is held on the property with lots of food, music and good times. These are the major fundraiser's of the year and are supported by members and friends of Germania Hall.



The mission of the Club is to promote and advance German culture, heritage, and tradition through its conservation efforts, hunting and fishing activities.
